Hello America!

I am Deirdre Briscoe and I would like to earn your vote for President of these wonderful United States of America in 2028!

​

I am very proud to be an American and I love my United States of America with all my heart.  I am very patriotic and love my red, white, and blue.  My military background instilled in me to honor my country and my flag. 

​

I am running for President of the United States because I don't like what our country looks like right now.  I don’t recognize our country anymore.  I believe, with your help America, we can make it a better place for all of US.  Yes, I am a Democrat, but I am color-blind when it comes to party affiliation.  I will work with ANY person who proposes ideas and legislation that is right for ALL OF US in the U.S.  I believe in justice, fairness, equality, integrity, honesty, and righteousness.  I will have open dialog sessions with hard working Americans and not just with other politicians.

I do not have any political experience, but I bring a lifetime of military and government service, hands-on experience helping people through social services, volunteerism, and advocacy, along with the ability to think outside the box and look for practical solutions. I am willing to admit that I am not the expert on everything, and that is why I will surround myself with the best of the best in my administration and team.

​

I am retired military.  I served in the Air Force and Air National Guard.  I retired from the military in 2007 at the rank of Master Sergeant after 23 years of service. I am a Veteran of a Foreign War.  I served in Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia during the war.

​

I am married to Wendall Curry Sr.  We have three grown children, two daughter-in-law’s, three grandchildren, and two fur babies.  

​

I have an undergraduate degree in Human Services and a graduate degree in Psychology. 

​

I love to wear my hats.  I love musical theater.  I love pizza. I shop at Walmart and Dollar General.  I love my above ground pool. I love dogs.  I love to play the slot machines.  I go into movie theaters just to get popcorn. I don't wear makeup.  I don't wear nails or heels.   I am not a good dancer.  I am an amateur content creator.

I was a single mom in the Air Force for 19 years.  I know what it is like to live paycheck-to-paycheck as an adult.  I know what it is like to not be able to pay your bills or have a creditor call you.  I also know what it is like to get yourself back on track.  I am probably going through, or have gone through, a lot of the same things that most of you are going through in life.  I don't come from money, and I don't have a lot of money now!  I know what it is like to struggle financially as an adult.  I know what it is like to be scared that your world is falling apart.  I know what it is like to feel afraid of the future.  America, help is on the way!

 

I believe every American deserves a seat at the table and every American should have food on the table. I am running for President of the United States of America because I want a government that listens to the people, works for the people, and remembers that the United States includes all of US.

 

True change comes when all of US in the U.S. are seen, heard, and acknowledged. Be part of the change!
